I have owned theWriteQuality domain for a couple years and in that time its undergone a number of changes. At first I was going to use it to blog strictly about writing, then it became a site where I promoted myself as a freelance writer. Now tWQ it to become my ‘source blog’; the place where all my online blogging – business and professional – is logged and can feed to other sites.

So, tWQ is going to be a very expressive and personal site – you will get everything from religion and politics to cars, movies and book reviews. It will be a kind of professional journal and portfolio – my own column that I dreamed about when I was in high school.

I have done some professional blogging for other companies, but not put together a site for myself. This will be it. Please feel free to comment on anything you read – I am interested in what people have to say.

A CDRL is a Contract Data Requirement List – basically a list of supporting document that the government requires when purchasing something. When that something is is software, the documents grow long and complex very quickly.

After about 3 years of working with mostly the same documents, My company now has a new contract with revised kinds of documents. About 7 new ones, to be exact.

But the really interesting part is that one of them is not just a report, but requires an entirely new and detailed process to be put in place for the testing of our software.

Basically, I just found about 2 years of new work to do. Possibly. I’ll find out more tomorrow morning.
